Enrichment grooming is a mindful approach to your pet’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being during their groom. Whether it’s using calming techniques, positive reinforcement, or slow introductions to tools, our goal is always to create a stress-free, safe, and rewarding grooming experience. If your dog needs more time and one-on-one attention to develop a positive association towards grooming, Absolutely Pawfect Pet Styling offers enrichment grooming training programs for dogs of all ages.

Our Services

Puppy Program

Designed to help a puppy 8 months of age and younger to get comfortable and familiar with the grooming process, environment, and equipment that is used for grooming. This can include table time, feet handling, introduction to the brush and comb, relationship building with their groomer, story time, and other techniques needed to have the puppy feel safe and secure in our care. We may need to use treats in order to assist in our training. This can range from kibble, training treats, peanut butter or any other pet safe products. This is a six-week program consisting of 20-to-25-minute sessions and costs $150.

Positive Training Program

Designed to aid pets that are scared, aggressive, or reluctant towards grooming. This program will help the pets understand the grooming process as a positive experience. This can include T-touch massage, treat training, loose leash walking, story time, relationship building, and reintroduction to grooming equipment and processes. We may need to use treats in order to assist in our training. This can range from kibble, training treats, peanut butter or any other pet safe products. This is an eight-week program consisting of 25-to-20-minute sessions and costs $280.

After Your Dog’s Enrichment Grooming Training Experience

The most important thing to come from your dog’s time in Absolutely Pawfect Pet Styling’s enrichment grooming training programs is a greater comfort level around groomers and grooming tools. But good behavior isn’t all they’ll have to show for their weeks of training! After completion, all training programs include a graduation certificate for your pet and a graduation photo. And as long as they’re visiting Absolutely Pawfect Pet Styling for their regular grooms, they’ll always benefit from a familiar environment and ongoing enrichment practices within our grooming services.
