About the Owner
Samantha Palya, owner of Absolutely Pawfect Pet Styling and The Enrichment Stylist Pet Business Consulting and Education, is a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to empowering the pet care industry. She is committed to nurturing future pet care professionals by working with apprentices.
Samantha began her distinguished grooming career in 1996, graduating from the Great Lakes Academy of Professional Pet Styling. Her talent was quickly recognized in grooming competitions, where she achieved notable placements in both grooming and hand stripping. In 1998, she was honored with Best Groomer and Best Groomed Dog at Groom Expo for her exceptional hand-stripped terrier.
Samantha's expertise is further solidified by numerous certifications, including Pet Tech CPR and First Aid Instructor, Skin and Hair, Salon Sanitation, Canine Body Language, Dog Gurus College, Pricing for Profits, Communications Skills Leader, and Heroes for Healthy Pets. She is eager to introduce Enrichment Grooming to the pet care industry as a speaker and educator and currently serves as an instructor for Moraine Valley Community College.
